Punta Gorda Martial Arts is an affiliate of Robson Moura Nations United. Robson Moura Fonseca is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitor, instructor and a mixed martial artist. He started training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at the age of 10 in Teresópolis, Brazil. His first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu teacher was Ailson “Jucão” Brites, though Moura attained the rank of black belt at the age of 18 from Nova União co-founder Andre Pederneiras. Today Moura holds a 5th degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Professor Brites.He has a mixed martial arts record of 2-1-1. Moura is known for his innovative style and ever-evolving technique in the world of jiu-jitsu. He won his division in the BJJ Mundials from 1996 through 2000, and again in 2007.

At Gracie North Port Brazilian Jiu Jitsu I teach Jiu Jitsu for self defense as well as competition. We teach ages 5 - adult, and we offer lessons in a class format as well as private format.

Their physical condition as well as personal habits and behavior are taken into consideration when setting goals and milestones in their programs as they work towards their Black Belt.

We specialize in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and self defense under 3rd degree black belt, Professor Robbie Craddock. Open to ages 13+.

Zion Martial Arts offers traditional Karate, kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes that cater to beginners of all ages as well as pros and amateurs.
